CCAF Transfer Partnership

CCAFNorthwood University supports the vision of the Community College of the Air Force (CCAF) in providing a path to higher learning for those with a calling to serve and the intent to provide students with knowledge, skills and theoretical background for enhanced performance as technicians and noncommissioned officers. Our partnership began over 40 years ago as we opened our first military installation program at the Selfridge Air National Guard Base in Michigan.

As a regionally accredited university, several of our courses have been approved for CCAF transfer to meet Associate of Applied Science requirements in Leadership and Management, General Education and Program Electives: Computer Science; English; Humanities; Math; Management; Natural Science; Speech and Social Science.

Students who are eligible for the G.I. Bill® and plan to use those benefits should contact the School Certifying Official for your location for more information.

Considering your Baccalaureate degree?

Because CCAF is a regionally accredited institution, transcripts are reviewed for course equivalency or credit transfer at the lower level, and in some cases upper level courses as well. Official transcripts must be received for a formal review.
